Kylie and Grant Mullen, both highly involved in sports and fine arts while in high school, see the value in offering a scholarship to the athlete who wants to pursue music, whether through the band, vocal, or the fine arts (theater and art). This scholarship is intended for the athletic musician to continue their education in private or group lessons, for materials needed, or to help with instrument upkeep.

The Judy A. Merchant Legacy Scholarship is given in honor of Amy Jo Wrobel’s mom. While growing up, Judy made certain that Amy Jo had piano lessons since she was unable to have piano lessons as a child. Judy’s love of music inspired Amy Jo as she became a church pianist at age 13. She then pursued competitive piano at state and national levels in high school and is now a veteran piano instructor at the Piano Forte Studio for over 30 years. AmyJo credits her philosophy of “making the love of music last a lifetime” to her mom’s faithful years of encouragement as a student and teacher. This scholarship benefits the private teacher to enhance their teaching studio.
